The main aims of Structural Approach are -
(1) To teach the following four fundamental skills-
(i) understanding
(ii) reading
(iii) speaking
(iv) writing.
(2) To enlarge the vocabulary of the students.
(3) To improve and correct pupil's speech habits.
(4) To make the classroom atmosphere interesting and natural.
(5) To develop students interest by creating meaningful situations.
